What the Ilha Tour is like

The Ilha Tour covers Fernando de Noronha from end to end in a 4x4 vehicle. It stops at the Porto, the Sancho and Dois Irmãos viewpoints, Baía dos Porcos, Cacimba, Sueste, Leão and Buraco da Raquel.

The day ends with the sunset at Forte do Boldró. The guide tells you about history and geology and shares valuable local tips.

Shared or private

  • Shared: open 4x4, fixed route, from 8am to 6pm, R$ 250 to R$ 370 per person.
  • Private: just your group, with the route and schedule set by you, from R$ 1.400 per group.

With a baby or young child, the private tour is the best format. You can skip stops and head back earlier.

Why do it on the first day

The tour gives you an overview of the island. On the following days you can return at leisure to the beaches you liked most, without spending the week trying to see everything.

Rough seas don't affect the tour, which is on land. That is why it also works as a swap when the boat is canceled. See the itineraries in itineraries.

What to bring and how to save

Bring the QR Code for your Park ticket, water, a snack and UV-protective clothing. Your own mask and snorkel help at the swimming stops.

On tour day, transport is already included. Rent a buggy or car only for your free days and save 30% to 50%.

We did this

We did a shorter, private version of the Ilha Tour right after arriving. With a baby, the private tour let us skip stops and head back earlier. It was the best logistics decision of the trip, and afterwards renting a car was much more worthwhile.
