How to get to Baía dos Porcos

The way starts at Cacimba do Padre. From there, access to Baía dos Porcos is over the rocks, along a stretch of about 170 m.

To reach Cacimba, go by car, buggy or taxi along the dirt road from Boldró. There is parking at the top and a short walk down.

The rocky stretch calls for sturdy footwear and care. It's not an outing for babies.

Tide, groups and hours

Baía dos Porcos only works at low tide. The Park organizes entry in groups, with times tied to the tide, which changes every day.

The visit may be cancelled if the sea rises. Check the day's times on the Park's website before leaving your pousada.

Going at high tide is one of the most common mistakes in Noronha. Check the tide table every day: here, the tide matters more than the weather forecast.

Ticket and what to bring

The bay is inside the Marine National Park, so the ticket is mandatory: R$ 192 for Brazilians and R$ 384 for foreigners. See exemptions and validity in fees and park ticket.

There are no facilities or shade. Bring water, a snorkel mask, a UV shirt and footwear for the rocks. Phone signal is weak or nonexistent.

Save the ticket's QR Code offline before you leave.

How to fit it into your day

Ideally, combine it with Cacimba do Padre in the same part of the day: first the pools at low tide, then Cacimba's wide sand.

The view of the bay with Dois Irmãos also appears from above, at the Sancho and Morro Dois Irmãos viewpoints. The Ilha Tour usually includes Baía dos Porcos in its route.
