Official 2026 fees

There are two different charges. The TPA costs R$ 105,79 for 1 day, on a progressive table: R$ 520,50 for 5 days, R$ 672,85 for 7 and R$ 901,36 for 10. From the 11th day on it rises quickly: 15 days cost R$ 1.747,71.

The National Park ticket costs R$ 192 for Brazilians and R$ 384 for foreigners, valid for 10 consecutive days. The batch currently sold online must be used by 31/10/2026. Local guides report age exemptions; check the official websites. Details in fees.

Where it is worth spending more

  • Pousada location: staying in the Vila or Floresta Nova cuts transport costs.
  • One well-run sea outing, by boat or speedboat.
  • Diving with a reputable operator.
  • A private Ilha Tour with children.
  • Insurance with air evacuation.

The item that varies most is accommodation: two pousadas on the same street can differ 3 times in price. Compare in where to stay.

Where it is not worth paying more

  • A buggy for the whole week: rent one only on your free days and save 30% to 50%.
  • Several expensive dinners in a row.
  • A paid sunset tour when Forte do Boldró is free.
  • Renting gear every day: bring your own mask and snorkel.
  • Souvenirs on the first day.

Other savings: water in large jugs, a set lunch plate from R$ 25 to R$ 35 and tours booked and paid upfront with the same agency. Airfares vary a lot; in 2026 there were round-trip deals under R$ 800 from Recife.

We did this

For us, the private speedboat was the expense that paid off most: a day at sea with a baby, with shade, a bathroom and food on board. Where you lose the most money is on poorly planned transport.
